Wow HDbrows!

At WWW.comb we want the latest and the best. Not only this we wouldn’t recommend anything we haven’t tried ourselves! So today we had the lovely Zoë Saunders down to the Salon to hook us all up with HDbrows.

HDbrows have been causing a buzz in the beauty industry for about a year now and have a massive celebrity following!

HDbrows have developed an eyebrow shaping system that has seven stages to create the perfect brow. However more importantly HDbrow stylists are trained to give each person designer brows,  with the right balance to suit the face, thickness and with the arch in exactly the right place. HDbrows are “all about design not hair removal” Zoë uses this system but it’s important to point out that she has got a real instinct and finesse for her work!

All of the girls have had their eyebrows done but I was lucky enough to sit in while Vicky went through the process of eyebrow transformation.

Vicky Before (1st stage analysis and recommendation)

Vicky had been maintaining her eyebrows herself and they weren’t bad but she was looking forward to a more defined brow and a fresh look. Zoë looked at Vicky’s brows and explained where she thought the arch should be and how she expected them to look. Vicky agreed with the assessment. Like most people Vicky had put her arch in the middle rather than towards the outer corner of her eye. Zoë couldn’t promise to fix this entirely on a first appointment but she was definitely going to give it a go!

Tinting

2nd. Tinting

The first stage is tinting. Zoë custom mixed a medium brown for Vicky. Which Vicky thought may be a little subtle for her but this is a personal taste issue and it’s better to be lighter rather darker at first.

3rd Precision Waxing

The excess tint was wiped away and next was waxing this gives the brows the basic shape and cleans above and below the brow.

Threading

4th Threading

Zoë threaded the brows to create a crisp line but also to blend and soften the line from waxing and remove the finer hairs.

Trimming

5th /6th Trimming and Tweezing

Zoë then trimmed the longer hairs on the eyebrow and tweezes for perfection.

Penciling

7th Finish

Zoë uses soothing lotion to comfort and close the follicles. Vicky checks out her new brows and decides she would like them a bit darker.Zoë reapplies more tint to darken them.

Now Vicky agrees they look great. Zoë finishes the look with HDbrow powder in a similar colour to achieve an absolutely polished look.
