I have been hairdressing since I was 14! I love my job and I believe this is clear to my clients!
I like to be fun and flirtatious with hair. Obviously it’s a hairdressers dream to get a person who is up for some experimentation and pushing the envelope with an avant-garde creation but at the end of the day it’s about making each individual feel special. When I bump into my clients outside of work they are still happy with their cut and colour and that’s brilliant. I am really proud to have such loyal customers and really strive to keep their looks evolving!
There is nothing worse than getting stuck in a rut and with me they feel confident in my judgement to try something new. I also hope that they take away tips on how to create a salon finish at home, how to get the best out of their style and how to wear it different ways just by using various products and tools.
You never stop learning in this business and I make sure my skills are up to date with latest industry innovation. An important part of my job is managing the team and I enjoy developing the junior members of staff both in terms of technique and attitude. I hope I lead by example! My next step is going back to school to do my teaching degree. I want to be able to share my knowledge with aspiring professionals.
WWW.Comb started with two people and now there are over 10 off us in the team. We are unusual in that we are not just a salon but a family and that’s why the vibe is just different from other places in the area. We really work hard to make WWW.Comb not just another hairdressers!
