Paul Mitchell Moisture Range

This is our first post about some of the products we have at the Salon. we do get asked about what we are using and many of you have said you would like more info. Our stylists have their favourite products too, ones they use personally and we will be sharing those with you either in blog posts or videos. 

Give your hair a drink! The Paul Mitchell moisture range is all about hydration, perfect for this time of year when you may be off to sunnier climbs and your hair is at risk of damage and dryness. The products contain fabulous botanicals, sun protection and humectants that draw in and balance moisture.

We stock four products in the range shampoo, conditioner, moisture spray and mask.  The spray is called Awapuhi Moisture Mist. This product is multi-functional and can be used as a leave in conditioning spray and also a hydration spray for the skin. It contains Sodium PCC which helps balance moisture and a whole host of vitamins and amino acids to give hair shine.  It is also great to pep up your hair and re-activate any styling products you may have used and also brilliant to combat dehydration to skin caused by flying. Alternatively if you work at an office with aggressive air-conditioning or heating this might be for you!

The most intensive product and a favourite with clients that bleach their hair or have naturally dry hair is a Super-Charge moisturiser treatment mask, leave on for 5 minutes and it really gives parched hair a moisture injection. Simultaneously Improving strength and elasticity, softness, shine and manageability. Key ingredients for conditioning are shea butter, panthenol, soy proteins and vitamin E, while Aloe, chamomile, rosemary and jojoba leave hair super shiny.

We know that it’s sometimes frustrating to get products that don’t perform and so we have some testers available to play with and also smaller sizes to buy before you fancy investing in the full size.
