Future stars are our junior members of staff, who are currently training to be hair stylists and are at the beginning of their careers. This means they will be at college completing their NVQ 1 and 2 in hairdressing. However most of the week working at WWW.Comb and keeping the salon on track, starting as shampooists and moving towards colourists and eventually graduating to working on the floor as stylists. This is why we call them future stars as they are here to aspire to be a great stylist, including technical brilliance, great client consultations and everything that can’t be taught but must be experienced.
Our Future Stars help keep the salon youthful, vibrant. They are often the people delivering the little extras that create an outstanding service. From a relaxing head massage and treatments at the backwash to tea or coffees made to your expectation. These are important elements of the salon experience. Done with motivation and a smile as they realise they are the stylists of tomorrow
Our Future Stars learn each day in the salon and complete modules for their exams. We have assessors visit the salon to make sure they can complete certain cuts, colours and hair styling. However in order to practice more cutting techniques, learn how to enhance hair textures and advanced colouring application we have a model night once a week ( Wednesday 5pm). This allows them to create hairstyles and colours in-line with trends and the services we offer as a salon every day. Haircuts are free on
