Your Wedding Day is meant to be the best day of your life and it’s only natural you’d want to look absolutely gorgeous! Over the years we have come to realise that every bride is different and ideas about their big day vary tremendously.
Once you have an idea about your wedding and the type of dress you will be wearing the next step will be the hair. It is best to decide upon which style you would like before you purchase accessories or a tiara. Dress, tiara and veil should all work in harmony. Step 1 The Consultation and Quote
We offer all of our customers a free consultation no matter what you are having done. So it’s best just to come in for a chat. Some ladies like a very glamorous bold look on their day others want a more polished version of the style they already have. We have pictures that you can look at and we can advise you on what will suit you and the dress you have chosen. We can also offer advice on the type of hair accessories to enhance your style.
We don’t have a standard price for wedding hair. We quote on an individual basis. This way we can be fair. For example if you wish to have an intricate up-do with hair extensions incorporated it will cost more than casual waves or half up/half down.
Other considerations will be the number of the wedding party (bridesmaids and mother-of-the-bride) wishing to have their hair done. An important consideration is where you need your hair done, in the Salon on the morning of your wedding or would prefer us to come to your house or hotel.
A Guide to Price
There are many variables to consider and we always quote fairly. We understand that a lot of budgeting and planning goes into organising a wedding and so here is a rough idea on price.
A guide cost for a consultation, bridal hair trial and hair on the day £150.
A guide cost for location based hair styling and is based on time away from the salon (usually a hotel) and is costed accordingly, £40 per half hour travel time per stylist. Then the cost of the hair £150 for the bride ( as above), £35-£45 for bridesmaids and £25 for children under 10yrs old. If other wedding guests wish to have their hair styled on the day, for example blow dry or hair up we can add this to the quote
We have a quotation and booking form that we keep at reception and we are happy to give you an accurate estimate. It is Free to pop in for tea and chat and if you’d like a better idea of price, always give us a call!
Step 2 The wedding hair Trial
We understand that you want it to look perfect! And to make it one less thing to worry about a few weeks before your wedding it’s a good idea to have a trial run. Bring with you your Tiara, headpiece or hair jewels and photo of your dress. You can see how your hair will look, we can tweak the style and try a few things out.
You can view your hair from all angles and imagine what your wedding photographs may be like. It’s your chance to change your mind!
And finally Your Big Day
We are thrilled to be sharing this special time with you! If you choose to have you hair done at the salon on the day be assured that it will great start to your big day.
Our team will pamper and fuss over you and make you feel relaxed. Likewise if one or two of our stylists join you on location.
