WWW.Comb turned 10 this year and what a decade it’s been. We started off with two and now we have a team of fifteen. Hair styles may have gone in and out of fashion but our values have stayed the same. The customer is priority! As without you we wouldn’t be here, and certainly not opening our bigger better salon. With twice the room and double the glamour, exciting times are ahead.
To celebrate this we decided to throw a party. What was meant to be a little bash turned into an epic night as we can’t really do low key and thanks to so many of you for coming. If you managed to make it here are 10 things you witnessed Friday 10th May. And for those who weren’t able to join us, check out the nights events! x
The New Updated Salon
Firstly the new look salon, which is quite simply bigger and better. During busy times we can all move around a lot easier. We can hold our blow-dry classes with ease. We have had a refurb, new chairs, mirrors and a beautiful fancy mirrored reception desk. Brand new state of the art massaging backwash bed. Try it, it’s amazing! We hope that a long with little touches such as Wi-fi so you can bring your tablets and laptops to play with while we pamper you, you will have a great experience at WWW.Comb
Us
The team – Everyone pulled together to put on a great event. We all matched for the night with new T-shirts That Say Find Your Style! A simple slogan that stands for a lot, let us transform you into the best version of yourself.
Hotties
It wouldn’t be WWW.Comb without a little bit of cheek! We had some very buff butlers for the evening and charming they were! One of them might seem familiar, a cameo appearance from our ex-manager Barrie. In case you haven’t heard he is forging a new career as an auctioneer. They leave but always pop back!
Spare Mayor
The new deputy Mayor Councillor Catherine Dann came down to officially open our newly expanded salon. It was her first day in her new role. So our party was her first event! She was amazing and is going to be a real asset this year. She took time to chat to our customers and find out what sets WWW.Comb apart. She even gave a lovely humorous speech. She can stop by for tea anytime.
Free Treats and Raffle
Goody bags, who doesn’t like free stuff?! We gave away 250 schwag bags with fabulous hair treats inside from Paul Mitchell, Hair Itely and keraststraight . And the most popular bit a Find Your Style! sparkling key-ring! As long as you have your keys you’ll have our number….see cheeky!
Food and Drink
We had scrummy canapés and these excellent cake pops made by our Stylist Aimee’s Mum Tina Ng. And of course the drinks were flowing!
You lot!
It’s not a party without guests and the place was packed out! We were delighted to see customers, family and friends mingling and having a great time. However that’s a normal day at the Salon, no?
Lisa and Helen
The boss ladies it’s their business and brilliant bosses they are. We really do have fun and the pair who have put blood, sweat, tears and a good few laughs into developing WWW.Comb said a few words.
New Recruits
Your first introduction to our newest recruits Nicole, Georgie and Georgina. Our team gets bigger as of May. With Georgie and Nicole leaving Harper’s Salon in Ruislip High St to Join us as of the end of the month. And Georgina who started as our new artistic nail technician . I also got “outted”, you got introduced to the geeky one who writes this stuff but generally stays behind the camera.
We had great feed back from the night and thanks again to all of those people who took the trouble to tweet and facebook message us afterwards.
Here is to the next 10 years and evolution of WWW.Comb…To Hair-finity and beyond!
