At www.comb, we value your time and the time of our stylists. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all clients, we have implemented the following cancellation and deposit policy.
Deposit Requirement
All appointments at www.comb require a deposit at the time of booking. This deposit secures your appointment and will be credited toward your final bill on the day of service. 50% deposit is taken.
Refunds and Notice
Deposits are fully refundable or transferable only if you provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. This notice period allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment slot to another client.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit may be forfeited. While we understand that plans can change, refunds or rescheduling within the 48-hour window are at our discretion and not guaranteed.
Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without contacting us will automatically forfeit their deposit and may be asked to pre-pay in full before any future bookings.
Colour work can sometimes take up to 3 hours to complete – failure to show can mean we have a stylist who has lost half the day and we are unable to fill the slot.
Running Late
If you’re running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service, rescheduling, or loss of deposit, depending on the stylist’s availability. It takes 45mins for a haircut and 30 minutes for a blow-dry. If you are 10mins late this is 1/3 of the time gone and 15mins late 50% of the time. This makes it impossible to complete the service on time. Please give yourself enough travel time – especially in busy times. Even if travelling locally – sometimes a crash can happen and a road can be closed off.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that life happens. In genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please reach out to us directly. While deposits are generally non-refundable within 48 hours, we may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
