A few weeks ago (Nov 10th) we left our stunning salon for second most glamorous venue in the area, Aren’s bar 😉 140 of you joined us for an evening of hair, fashion and music. We were determined to provide an entertaining night to remember. The concept of Extend Your Style is all about changing your fashion and hair to suit the occasion and mood. We are living in a time where it is increasingly possible to be a style chameleon. More of you want to change your hairstyle as quickly as your clothes and it’s becoming easier to make that transformation and have fun!
Joining us were the ladies from Lisa’s Closet who have successfully bought some great quality fashion labels to Ruislip Manor. Lisa has some fabulous party wear at the moment and therefore Aren’s Bar in Pinner was ideal to show them off.
We were also delighted to have our supplier Easilocks with us to talk to you about their range of hair pieces and hair extensions. You’ve been asking us for ages to get hairpieces in at our Ruislip Salon and we are delighted to have found a brand that delivers on quality and price. The celebrity range of hair pieces come in five styles and sixteen colours that blend seamlessly with your natural hair, again ideal for party season. The superstar piece was very popular, the longest and fullest one. It will give anybody “big hair” with little effort. They simply clip in. The next favourite was the long pony tail that can also be pinned in place to form a neat bun. The hair can be worn multiple ways, so you get a good amount of bang for your buck.
You all arrived on mass and we attempted to hand champagne and goody bags out as quickly as we could! We were pleased with the reaction these got and I hope you’ve all been trying out your hair goodies and have used the vouchers for the local businesses.
You were treated to two catwalk shows and every model was wearing an Easilocks hair piece. Kudos to Jess, Vicky and Chelsea who choreographed a very lively catwalk show. All of the models did a fabulous job and really gave it all they had! And Holly Finlay (the current Miss Buckinghamshire) who kept proceedings on track. Aimee, Fran and Shannon styled hair on stage with audience members. We are immensely proud of our young stylists and the professionalism they show under pressure.
A big thank-you to CXV24 up and coming girl band who treated us to their brand of music with high energy and urban attitude.Last but not least thank-you to our clients old and new that came out on a Monday night.
